Serving as the Commercial Counsellor at the Philippine Trade and Investment Centre-Singapore, she heads the Commercial Section of the Philippine Embassy and the representative office of the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Singapore - a role integral in fostering trade and investment relations between the Philippines and Singapore.Before stepping into the world of commercial diplomacy, she practiced commercial law, specializing in the fields of power, utilities, and energy, with a focus on renewable energy. She also played a key role as a Director (Legislation) at the Senate of the Philippines, contributing to the office that worked on amendments to the Revised Corporation Code and the Revised Penal Code of the Philippines.
