During those studies, he worked on research projects related to optimizing mechanical design and performance through innovative technologies. During his time at Komatsu/Modular Mining Systems, Edward worked to deliver optimization and safety technology to mining companies.

At Emerson/Aspen Technology, Edward is the Global Director or Mining and Metals Solutions for industrial software. He has helped mining, cement and metals companies worldwide begin and advance their digital journey towards gaining tangible benefits from the use of AI and ML. He focuses on the mining benefits of technology, not on the technology itself. He is dedicated to delivering measurable mining outcomes and improvements using the latest technologies
