Engineer Samya Salem Alsereidi is a Geographic Information Systems specialist, holding a bachelor’s degree from the UAE University and a diploma in Government Excellence from Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University. She is an active member of the Global Innovation Institute (GInI) and the Fujairah Engineers Association.

Currently, Engineer Samya serves as Director of the Geology and Mining Department at the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation (FNRC), where she leads technical teams and manages large-scale projects. Her leadership has earned FNRC the Golden Peacock Award for Sustainability 2024.

With expertise in sustainability, she oversees projects aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of mining activities. She also works to enhance the efficiency of natural resource utilization and minimize waste, aligning with national environmental objectives. Her strategic initiatives align with national environmental goals, supporting the UAE’s vision of sustainable development. Engineer Samya’s work enhances Fujairah’s position as a key player in sustainable mining practices.
